Arcadez – Custom Designed Arcade Site – 1,600+ Games

Arcadez (www.arcadez.org) is a relatively new arcade site with a custom logo and design. The site runs off of PHPArcadeScript, which will be transferred to the new owner. It has its own admin area which manages every part of the website.

The site has 1616 games and each game has the swf file, a title, description and a thumbnail. I bought the site a back in January, but haven’t had the time to do much to it till the past two months. I spent a total of about $40 for additional games and to help market the site via an Adwords voucher. I have joined various topsites, acquired link exchanges, and submitted two games to both heavygames.com and kickingames.com. These two sites bring in about 75 unique visitors a day, even though the games are no longer featured.

The site received about $80 in revenue last month and about $10 so far this month. I am currently using Google Adsense text ads and ValueClick media banner ads.

The domain is registered at GoDaddy through 12/23/2007. I will push the domain to your account for free. I will also help you in moving the site to your host and help make sure everything works.

Hi, Looking at you stats, early march is very impressive but the latter part and april is fairly poor, any reason for this? Changes?

The games submitted where they your own creation or those of others?

 

At the beginning of March, two games were added (and featured) on both heavygames.com and kickingames.com as already mentioned. They were only featured for a couple days, then appeared as a normal link. Now that these are no longer featured, traffic from this source slowly decreased over time. It is fairly steady now.

The submitted games were a creation of others; they were part of the game pack that I bought to use for the site.
