We were simply pointing out some inconsistancies in your story. We do that so that others can know what they are getting into before they spend the type of money you're asking for the site. We look out for each other. Some people just don't know how to do due diligence.

If they've seen our warnings and still want to move forward, there is nothing stopping them and congrats to you. Either way the info is here for them. Perhaps the people PMing you didn't see everything posted here in the thread? I can understand self importance is hard to control but do know that just because you say what the people PMing you "realize" doesn't mean they do....

Perhaps if they did the site would be sold already, no?

 

I am not saying you guys shouldnt be asking questions or questioning some parts of the sale, that is natural with any large sale. But saying "you are a liar because your site does not really get that many uniques" is just plain stupid. As I said, I have literally sold dozens of websites and never had any problems. I have perfect feedback on Ebay and DNForum (where I do most of my business), so calling me a liar, or a cheater, or a scammer without any proof whatsoever is just irresponsible and shouldn't be tolerated at DigitalPoint.

 

Actually you've got that backwards pal. People get ripped off on DNF a lot because the policy is basically that you can't publicly question the seller without making a bid. To me, that, is "irresponsible".

A guy was trying to sell a site on DNF and lied stating he had 6 months revenue. When I showed him the domain was only registered for 3 months he reported me and I got my post deleted and a warning. Great system.

 

That's great...but this thread isn't about DNF...

The point is, if you have a real question about my site I would love to answer it. Trying to crap on a sales thread shouldn't be tolerated anywhere.

you can sit and type you have sold 100s of websites all you want, we have to believe what it is we want... so guess what....I sailed to the moon twice so far!!!!!!!

Lastly not sure is this will register with you since you seem to think that the issues pointed out were attacking you...but this is a public forum.

Excellent point. Showing up to a forum and asking ten g's for a site is pretty bold. DLM, if you have such a great rating on ebay why not sell this site there? It would have made more sense to try to sell a smaller site here first for less $$$.

Also, you are stealing games. Look here. All of your games are from other sites. Can you provide proof that you have permission from all these hosts to use their games? While this isn't illegal it is unethical.

If you have a specific question about this guys sale, ask him. He seems to be more then willing to answer it and/or provide proof. If you want to complain about eBay or dnForum, make a seperate thread. Why does this guy have to answer to what might have happened to individuals there. (Which I will point out had absolutely nothing to do with him)

And if you felt our post were inappropriate and in the wrong place then yoiu yourself should headed your own advice.... an PM those you have task with... and leave your anger out of the thread as well..

Posting a drive by comment like that does nothing for the B/S/T section. Ganging up on site sellers (which seems to be a growing way to add to peoples post counts) just because you think they are asking for too much is bullying, Plain and simple.

If you think the site is overpriced, Don't buy it!!
