Social bookmarking works very well, also be sure to have social bookmarking options on your site too, so visitors can add your site to places like Stumbleupon etc. Look at things like link dumps (there are a lot created specifically for arcade sites) and banner exchanges. Also set up a myspace page just for your arcade and start adding a load of friends. As far as free traffic goes, these are your best options in my opinion. I'm actually in the process of developing a blog aimed specifically at arcade webmasters, giving info and advice on this sort of thing, so keep an eye out for it
