ARCADE OWNERS: Are you happy?

    Hello arcade owners, I have a few questions to put forward to you about your arcades.
    But the main one is realy:

    Are you happy with your current arcade script?

    The main things I am looking for is are you happy with your:

    * Graphics & Look
    * Ad Placement & CTR
    * Admin management panel.

    Other important factors:

    * Do you feel your arcade offers enough options for banner exchange advertisement (100x100) ect.
    * Is there anything on your current arcade you have now, that you wish was better or different.
    * - What features would you like, but dont have.

    The reason I am asking these questions is because I have started creating an arcade script (makeArcade.com) and I want it not only to be cheap (which it will be), but these things I promise:

    * Good graphical layout & design.
    (Users dont want to play a bad looking arcade)
    * High CTR ad placements.
    (Because everyone likes to make money)
    * Feature-Packed admin area, Including 100x100 Banner rotation!
    (Rotate banners from alot of different places to earn more money)
    * Easy to use user systems with:
    AJAX star ratings, Game reviews, PM systems, Notepad, Plus alot more.

    Please help me in creating an arcade script based around what owners actual want, as this in my opinion is vital.

    The last question I will ask you to answer right now is:

    When makeArcade is released would you concider buying for under $50 (not $49.99), If it had all you needed along with great designs and excellent banner placements?

    Included in the download would be a converter from GSS, GS, PHPas and other major scripts.

    Thank you all for reading and I look forward to hearing your answers,
    Declan Dowling.

    Arcade website is a flooded market. This means it'll be good for you but not your buyers, unless they really pour some money and time into their project. As an arcade owner, no I wouldn't buy it because I already have GS.

    It's a nice clean design mate.

    i like it -- trouble is, because of the style, isnt everyones going to look almost the same? There is no "big image" to change to make a script look differnt.

    Your idea seems good, and the features are nice.

    I always use my own code when making arcade sites, then i know i have somthing script users dont -- originality. (no offense to you)

    :)

    I would be interested in this so keep us informed. I have six arcade sites that need a total revamp.

    Your design looks nice. But as cocoMonkey said, I am with him. I will not need it or any other off the shelve script as I write my own sites scripts.

    About the market being flooded with games, yes it is, but there is still ways of winning this game and getting a head of everyone else. Sites start up and fail all the time. Once a site fails another one can start up. There are always people wanting to play games so there is room for more. But to succeed with an arcade you just have to know alot before hand about the best ways to promote it.

    I hope all that makes sense. I am rather tired you see. lol

    Thank you everyone for your comments & feedback, Fka200 for your PM also.
    I am thinking of redesigning the arcade to look in a way like GameScript.net, would this make it more customisable.

    no, dont just redesign to look like somthing else mate! -- otherwise, people might aswell buy the original.

    Your design looks great, but you need to offer a way for people to change the design,

    OR

    Make an arcade, build it up with games, get some traffic, and sell the site as a one-of-a-kind site with custom script - not on any other site.

    To cocoMonkey:
    Im not going to redesign it to look like anything else, what I meant was Im going to make it so it has an easy customisable template engine like GameScript, and I dont want to make 1 arcade I want to make a script :).
