Arcades tend to rely mainly on traffic exchanges and the thing that will seperate the men from the boys would be SEO. If its a new site you want to start with a few smaller keywords with hardly any competition and gradually try to work your way up to the larger keywords. Do you know any SEO?
Yeah i would suggest starting off with the SEO basics, and read this forum back to front for as much information as you can get! Articles are great, but they are just a small part of whats needed to rank well for competitive search terms. Scott
Arcade site require lot of experiments like for example you should do video marketing with a typical arcade game making it little addictive, people should tend to visit your site once they check it.
i suggest you to do social bookmarking & traffic exchanges with sites offering 1:1 ratio it will save your surfing time & you will get lot of traffic.
