Arcade79 is an original arcade with over 1300 fabulous games. It has been running now since May 15th but sadly I have no more time to devote to the site as therefore it has to be sold.

Arcade79 is currently receiving an astonishing number of unique hits.

It is worth noting though that these hits are with advertising and advertising will need to be continued to keep these numbers high.

Although 82.5% of last months traffic (June) was from direct type ins so if you wish you can just leave the site to its own device and it will still receive hits and get you some ad clicks.

I have used digg.com occasionally for some very quick hits. With just 10 minutes a day of submitting a few games you can get a lot of extra hits and therefore ad clicks.

Adsense as been implemented into the site but I am sure that with better placement that this amount could go up a lot. So far we have had 90 Clicks.

how do you stop people from hacking your script.

 

Its a free script from http://avscripts.net so its rather open for people to see its coding. Therefore people help its developer find security flaws and relay them back to him so they are fixed. So far I have not had any security issues.

What advertising methods have you used to promote this site?

 

How much do you use advertising the site too?

 

The main methods I have used are: Myspace advertising (Off my own accounts, 2000 friends) and submitting games to http://digg.com and also "stumbled" games (http://stumbleupon.com) and some forum advertising. Mainly teen forums.

I have paid no money at all for advertising. All free methods
