Yeah ... he own the site definately, cause he provide me the admin password and user name (the site uses script from gamesitescript.com). But he later terminate it after I made modification (I took sometime to understand how the admin panel work).

QUOTE=chowbow;1458152]What I mean is you get the admin pass and so on right? So it would be safe to say that the guy who own the site is the guy that screwed you ? There are many things that can be done to a site...[/QUOTE]

It may be his gamesitecript license isn't valid. Not sure how you check or if they care though.

    Hi,
I'm new to the business and therefor easy prey for scammers.
would a sale through escrow prevent this kind of scam? is that a safe way to buy sites?
    thank you

Use escrow.com for high value domains. Very safe. But in general most people here at DP are honest, but it happens and most members are good enough to say something when they feel something isn't right or sounds fishy.

v12kid is an active scammer on screennameforums..com (which is chock full of scammers). You should make a post there pointing to this one.
He scams people over there by charging to send Myspace bulletins to over 1million accounts but the number is only about 1% of that.

The traffic to the site he has for sale here would have been generated from MySpace bulletins which is against YPN and Adsense's TOS. Probably why his account has been banned.

Give him Red and a negitive iTrader report. And hunt him down, here are a couple of contact details for him.....AIM - v12kid .... email -

Best of luck Jimmy, I hope you get your money back.

Good luck getting your money back.

Personally I always pay by paypal, yes I know they won't help you get your cash back, but I pay paypal via a credit card (not theirs) and that gives me plenty of time to file a charge back with the credit card company.

If you paid egold via credit card then you should be able to do the same. (never used egold, no idea how you pay them)

This is useless, if he was smart he would have used public wi-fi...

Contact his hosting company, his domain registar... How much have you paid him?

Also can't E-Gold track where the account went to?

If this guy is based in the US it shouldn't be hard to get your money back...

    hahahaahaha wow:

V12Kid: no im not, my site was hacked and some idiot tried to pose as me and sell it
V12Kid: I am not selling it
V12Kid: that post is all bogus
    me: uh huh
me: Thats why you havn't replied
V12Kid: why would I sell my site thats making money with such random comments in that post
V12Kid: yea cus I got banned
    me: your account isn't banned
V12Kid: a buddy shows me the thread the other day and im likwe WTF
    me: It would say BANNED
    V12Kid: well, I cant login
V12Kid: guessing the email was chnaged when whoever logge din
me: Well if you were any kind of honest man you would have made an account informing DP members
me: you are responsible for you account, your website, if it was hacked that your responsibility to take the fall for it, good luck.
V12Kid: thats what im proces of doing but first I emailed the DP admins, hoping for a reponse tomm
V12Kid: also got their phone number to call to ask for assistance
    me: I find it funny
V12Kid: this is the most random thing to ever happen to me
me: how your account on dp, and your website account was hacked
    me: uh huh

Personally a hacker wouldnt take the time to HACK a DP forum account, and a website cpanel and try to freaking sell it like wtf?, they would just steal CC's or hack other info... This guy is full of it

V12Kid is a useless maggot liar. People like him is just like trash and waste. I hope he have many friends in real life, but I do not think a person like him can have friends. Except dope friends of course, but when V12Kid is out of weed to share, he have no friends.
