I think that it looks pretty boring. It's also pretty cluttered. A logo would be good to see. Something other than "125x125" images would be nice too, even if it's mock adverts.
with the name arcade you think of bright colors, fancy graphics, characters animation etc you definitely need a logo search for others word press themes to give you inspiration and make it your own here is a nice one http://www.rotheblog.com/classic-arcade-game-wordpress-themes/ your footer frame seems like it should be resized to fit both columns instead of just the right side, it won't look so cramped down there.
