We need to convenience adsense to increase the competitive filter limit for us publishers. I have several different niche's of sites and my competitive filter is already full from only 1 niche trying to get rid of the MFA sites. To me AdSense in this sense is working against their publisher in not allowing us to have a huge amount of blocked advertisers. They are working for MFA sites that have really low payouts. Bad idea. AdSense does provide a IE plugin that will allow you to view advertisers on your site and the websites they lead to without fear of invalid clicks.. https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=160 There was a site dedicated in helping with the blacklist, but they had major problems and since gotten really bad.
I don't use I.E, but I'll take alook at that plugin. They should increase the Competitive ad filter. 200 is not enough.
Your picture shows nothing relevant that amount of clicks is not statistically meaningful. Anyway on to what you're doing, it will work by manually removing crappy sites from your ads it can help the main way it will help is with smart pricing however. If you check the sites and they look like they probably will convert like crap then it may be a good idea to block it because their crappy conversions will make your smart pricing hit worse.
I agree, the dataset is too small as well..... need a site that is getting thousands of clicks per day to report.....
I agree strongly. Bring on unlimited site filters. Contextual advertising has it's weak points and who better to tune out the junk than the webmaster. I hate having to choose which Arb sites are "better" to meet the 200 place limitation. Better still let me approve the ads. If google doesn't trust me with these features then they can make me take a "tutorial" with questions at the end like ebay made me do once. I really didn't notice any drop in mfarb sites earlier this yea despite the "crackdown"
