Just got this in my Adsense account today under revenue stats does everyone get such report every month ? I didn't ever see anything like this in my account before !
I just seen it for the first time too. The tip they gave me was "You may be filtering ads that monetize well on your site." Apparently my competitive filter list is getting too long. I'll take a look at it, I guess..
I got that one, too, funny thing is I just kicked my filter in at the start of the month after taking it down for experimental purposes...from what I've seen, that puppy is staying in place! The other thing I got was something to the effect that many of my pages only have one ad unit on them. That, also, is by design though I may play around with it a little bit. Last thing I want to do is make the site look like an Ad playground, though.
got that too. one tip is to add more ad units: won't do that second tip: you are filtering too much. I am not filetring any
since we all got the same thing and same tip as well so it's automated thing Adsense guys are spamming our accounts - is it their April's fools joke ?
Normally I could say the same but I was testing to see what sort of effect the list had on CTR, eCPM, ePC, Earnings, etc and to get any meaningful values to do some real statistical analysis I had the filter off for quite a while...just ironic that I get the message 2 hours after I kicked it in again
Ditto all of the above here also ... it's a good idea, but sounds like their algorithm needs some tweaking to be more useful.
I wonder what else it checks for. Too bad it's not something like: We see that you are showing a lot of ads for www.mfadsense.com, and www.worthlessjunksite.com, you may wish to filter them to increase your ePC!
I just got this same one, too. Ironically, my payoff has been higher ever since I've blocked a bunch of foolish ads that got constant website airtime.
