    Hi,

Does google give any extra weight in seo and serps to domains you can only buy once you have been approved by an independent company/organisation?

    For example:

Domains like .job can only be purchased by human resources professionals and companies by the US Society for Human Resource Management
(i think but dont quote me)

Will google give more credit like more trust to this domain over a domain that is a standard .com that anyone can buy ?

Im not asking about the seo of each domain im more interested to know if you need to be approved for a domain if it will help in the seo of the site?

I guess its a bit like the .gov web sites ...

I don't think it matters much, but it may matter a bit.

there's anecdotal evidence that .gov, .edu etc help. I'm personally of the opinion it's more correlation and not about causation.

It makes no difference. The age of the site is the most important factor.
