First of all Hi!, I am new to this forum and hope to get good advices. Also, I'd like to share my knowledge and help you people :)

Guys, I am planning to open a forum (vBulletin script) and I am looking for some budget hosting. I've seen lots of companies like fatcow, hostmonster, justhost, etc. but due to mixed reviews on review-sites, I am unable to choose one.

Some of them also say that they terminate your account if you use more than 10% of their resources. Will this be possible if I host my forum and have traffic of about 1000+ a day?

I am also looking for the one which provides free AdWords, Yahoo, Myspace credit.

What according to you is best for me? Anyone here using such hosts? Please share your reviews and the reason why you like / hate them :)

    Thanks!

You will be fine when you start out with shared hosting but as your forum grows in popularity you will eventually have to move up to a VPS.

For 4 bucks a month, your only options are budget hosts. If you;re expecting 1k individual visitors a day, you're not going to last long with a budget host before they boot you.

Be sure to review caching options with the vBulletin docs.

And considering the costs involved with a vBulletin license and your budget, why do I get the feeling that your licensing of the software may be questionable? (And the fact that one of the betas hit the torrent sites yesterday.) They may not be too happy with the note that they get about your usage if you decide to go that route.

Like everyone already stated, you can find some good hosting solutions for $4 a month however if you forum grows you will eventually need a VPS or even a Dedicated server.

I believe that the choose of the web host will be based on the size of your forum
I'm certain you will have no problems with most of the php/mysql web hosts
