One of my friends has hunted for jobs for almost one month, but every time after interview, no news again. That bothers her so much and she began to find where her problem lies in. By chance she run into a person who has been working in the department of hr for almost ten years. He told her that as a whole, she is really good, while the fashion handbag she carries don't fit for job interview occassion. Interviewers are inclined to have such kind of question in their own heart: "Since you are rich to afford such luxury things, why do you need a job? " It this really inappropriate to carry a fashion handbag for job interviews? Now my friend is still hunting job, but without her designer handbag. Wish her good luck!
I don't think that the bag is the problem..the bag could've been a gift to her. The employer shouldn't weigh their candidates based on the appearance or how expensive they look in an interview. Anyway, hope she bags a job soon good luck to her!
