Approaching domain owner when there is NO contact details...

I used to own a domain that I let slip 2 years ago. I didn't need it any longer but now I do!

The domain is booked now but it seems unused - best I can see is that a family have bought the domain to showace some family pics. There are NO contact details on their few pages and the whois returns nothing as they booked the domain using a GoDaddy powered 'domainsbyproxy'. There are no details axcept some generic email that have tried but with no success.

How do I approach them - contact them with an offer for the domain when there is NO point of contact!???

    Please, any help appreciated. :(

Private registration acts as a liaison. The owners of the domain will still receive your inquiry via the middleman.

The generic email address should work and bounce the email to them - they just aren't responding you. They may respond if you make a REALLY good offer.

Place this domain name in the Domain names wanted sections on the various forums. Maybe the posts will attract his attention somehow

Register with GoDaddy, and when you do, there will be link in the footer in the left corner of the page that says "Email Our Support Team".
And on the opened page it says "Expected Response Time: 2HR". GoDaddy is good with sending emails to owners of domains. BTW I'm not in any connection with the company.
I hope this will help you.
