Are you looking for freelance work or a full time job? If it's freelance work, then yes. I'd say so but if you're looking for a stable 9 to 5 perhaps not. If you do web marketing stuff, you'd probably be better off working in-house - as in for a non-agency business. The reason being that many agencies have very elastic budgets. Meaning if they lose a client, they are apt to cut back. Especially, if you worked the account that was lost. On the other hand they often have more freelance projects than they know what to do with if you can just manage to find the right person to speak to at the right time...
