I have a website that is getting enough traffic to where companies have been approaching me about buying advertising space. This is great, but I would like to expand the number of advertisers on my site. My idea for this was to email various companies in my niche and offer than advertising. Is this something webmasters normally do, or does it sound too pushy or rude?
Its not a good idea to email other webmaster and offer them advertising offer coz it sound not professional. What you can do is open a thread at DP and offer your advertising opportunity and i'm sure you will get a lot of positive respond
The best way to email a business is to use a form they have provided at a search engine. Or the form they have provided on their web page. If you just spam them, you will not get their business.
