"Nokia Sony" is a relatively popular search term on google and I was wondering whether this would have any impact on how much the website is worth.
Please check Nokia.com and Sony.com. You are using both their respected names in the domain, thus meaning TM infringement. Next time please think about TM before registering a domain.
Yes, I would agree. It is generally a good practice to stay away from registering domain names that infringe on companies trademarks. They ultimately have the right to the domain.
under $100 bux... make sure no one sells products on it.. maybe if its a blog praising these companies, no one will sue u
I am using the website to display adverts from affiliates - I'm not selling any products directly myself. Would this still be regarded as TM infringement? Would it be best to close the website down?!
Thanks for all your advice. What confuses me is why is it that websites such as samsungnokia.com have been running for a number of years? This must also be regarded as TM infringement, right?
samsungnokia.com is a small site, probably attracting very few visitors. If a site doesn't attract attention, then it will be left alone. But if a domain or website is going to be worth something, then the aim is to attract attention to that website. Hence, your domain is rendered worthless.
150 bux and here is some advice you should start bloging aswell to promote sony & nokia products that means what ever is happening for there own good thnx
