Appraise my proxy site www.cooltunnel.com

Almost 3 months old. Made $35 off the index page in the last 7 days according to adsense, so projection for a month might be $125. Doesnt make anything off the proxied page since I got bidvertiser there right now... ...but I am thinking of somehow monetizing it, not sure how much it will fetch though.

Today the index page got 3,500 impressions and about 1000 uniques, yielding $6 in adsense already by 2 PM. 80% of the traffic is US based according to statcounter.

Framed proxied page today got 2,800 uniques(yeah most of my customers are hotlinkers I gotta fix that) and 52,000 pageloads according to statcounter. 10% of this traffic is US and the rest mostly India, brazil and Iran. Can't really blame bidvertiser that much.

According to alexa I am ranked 269,713 on a 3 month average and 184,414 on a one week average so going up I assume. On some days I make the top 100,000 which I guess means some toolbar users happen to use it in excess.

Supposedly this is a PR4 site.

Things on my todo list would be to enable some strict hotlink protection and somehow monetize the proxied pages. Not sure how to do that? Rotating affiliate banners with phpadsnew maybe?

I did hear that proxies go for the most just when school starts so I am thinking I might "plump this up" for september and then sell it. How much is it worth now and how much could it be worth?

Yep, I think vpntunnel is purely the cgiproxy script and mine is the cgiproxy script with a bit of php hacked into the index page and the banner pages.

Nice site Use adversal on proxifyed pages, as google is against there ToS.

 

High $xxx, VERY good traffic, you should not try selling it, but it would be better if you could somehow get auto refreshing ads which are PPC or PPV, because people tend to browse for a long time with sites such as that one
