Appraise my domains!

You may or may not have heard, Microsoft's new iPod "killer" is dubbed the Microsoft Zune.

I went out and bought www.microsoftzune.com, www.zuneforums.net and www.zuneforum.net.

MicrosoftZune.com could be worth something in the near future when Microsoft releases it's product. That could cause a trademark error however and cause them to take over your domain. Now worth reg price, when it comes out I'm guessing mid $x,xxx.

www.zuneforums.net and www.zuneforum.net are both great for fans of the "zune"
Each worth about mid $xx.

 

It all depend if MS want your name....it could worth alot, but if MS want it, it worth reg fee

 

i also have a ZUNE domain, and was curious about C & D letters in the future. Also curious as to what they could be worth.

 

MicrosoftZune.com: Terrific if microsoft decides to play cool and politely decides to buy the domain from you. Ask for $xx,xxx, afterall, MS has a real fat pocket.

Zuneforums.net and Zuneforum.net are cool enough too, they might be ranked as premium domains and could be worth high $xxx

I'd seriously worry about using Microsoft in a domain name. They're very tough on trademark infringements. It's a good domain to have, but I'd nver pay big money for it as it just be throwing it away.

 

Microsoft is very aggressive about trademark infringement - so the names have very limited, if any, value imo.

 

If zune isn't trademarked yet (not sure on your chances of that..) then the forum domains should be sound investments.

Like the others, I don't think you'll have much luck with MicrosoftZune.com - I don't think many people will want to touch that, and if MS do, they'll get it for free...
