Hy, I have few CCCC.com domains, and I want your honest appraisal. xpvg.com qbzv.com rqry.com ugxz.com What do you think ? ~Thanks, Daryo
I agree with htmlindex. The 4 char coms are waaaay overrated. Who would remember this combo: qbzv ? I'm finding it hard to type even looking at it.
i won't buy a domain like that.. not even when i'm really drunk. it's true that they are too overrated.. but i would better buy a 4 letter .net .org that makes sense.
Nope, I'm quite serious. Even though all off the LLLL.com domains have been bought out by Namepros members, there are still many that will be dropping & there has not been a minimum wholesale value established over reg fee yet. Personally, I wouldn't buy random LLLL.com domains with bad letters as I can't see much potential in them, but that's just me
there are about 450,000 combinatins for LLLL.com, i don't think namepros members can buy that many domains. Also, some domains may not make sense for english speaking audience due to their letter combination but that doesn't mean they are useless, for example, many chinese sites use domain names with letter Q. I think overall four letter domain name will increase in value regardless of letter combinations. As for these domains $10 - $20 for now keep them, you will be able to get much more few months from now.
What I meant is that the final buyout was completed by Namepros members as there was a number of threads on there about LLLL.com. They were encouraging people to buy them & a major chunk of the last ones were bought by Namepros members.
Bad example. Chinese domains used Q and number domains because they didn't have Chinese character domains available. They used gibberish domain names. The Chinese government has moved over to Chinese character domains and Chinese domains are now going to use Chinese characters. Any combination of letters and numbers works if you develop and work on it enough. However, if it is difficult for surfers to remember the name, type-in traffic will be nil.
