IMHO, the imminent introduction of several new generic top-level domains means that, with the exception of .com domains, in the next future all the TLDs will lose their value because it will be spread between all the new TLDs that are coming out. But I think that the .com domains and all the domain hacks will increase their value since it will be a lot easier for them to be branded by new companies and remembered by people. Decent domain hack. I would say it's potential is around Mid to High $xxx. The only problem that I see with this name is that only people that are residents of the EU can own names in this extention.
I agree with htmlindex, it's good, it would be great for one of those services where you enter your domain/site and it appraises it based on price/traffic/etc. The problem is .IT domains have restrictions on who can own them, and what can be put on them. Which tends to make it a smaller market of potential buyers. Good luck though, I hope you find a end user for it.
If you use EuroDNS you can have the domain also if you're not european. It's the same for .asia domains: I have a few of them and I'm not Asiatic. They give you a CED (Charter Eligibility Declaration) Contact for free (or 1 dollar, I don't remember the price). Selling with Bido, I have to transfer the domain to EuroDNS. This is what is written in EuroDNS: If you are not an EU Citizen or Company with EU Address, EuroDNS could become the domain holder and send you a certificate of ownership. Once the domain is registered it will be allocated to your EuroDNS account and you will gain full access to the domain.
