Well, it's called trademark infringement, and your post is good proof of your intent to ride the goodwill of it. I would drop it.
But so far there is no company working in in the India right now ! I have an another example a big telecom co. (vodafone) have taken a domain of (airtel com) what do you say?
It doesn't matter if they are in India or not - Internet traffic isn't limited by the TLD - it's your intent to trade upon the goodwill of a trademark. There is something called the Madrid Protocol - they can take the domain with a WIPO action or just decide to sue you for damages. Don't register domains of other companies with the intent to make money off of them. It's a bad faith registration and trademark infringement. Find your own name.
