    Hi all,

Could you please tell me what sort of price I could expect for these domains:

    1cdstore.com
    a2bfast.com
    bl0ws.com
    budget-phones.com
    e-8a.com
    hk8a.com
    vistalessons.net

All on godaddy if that makes any difference

    Thanks in advance
    Ryan

Oh I had budget-phones valued by godaddy with a certified appraisal at $90-$279

Is that a load of crap then?

All appraisals for domain names are pretty much worthless and a waste of money. You can get a more accurate idea of the worth of revenue producing site - but there are still a lot of factors such as length and average revenue, net profit, amount of time to maintain the site, traffic, etc.

A domain name is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Unless you put it up for sale or auction, it is just a shot in the dark. I've seen domains that have "apprasials" for $100,000 not sell for a few hundred, and others which have very low apprasials sell for a lot more.

I had a friend recently sell a two word .com that he had been trying to sell for 5 years. I don't think it was worth much more than $100, but he didn't want to sell it unless he got what he thought it was worth. The only person who ever showed interest in the domain bought it for $5K because he was set on that name for some reason.
