    I just grabbed this domain:

    HitSpot.net

Google Page Rank: 5 (for both http://hitspot.net and www.hitspot.net)

It's very old, and has Wayback Machine history since 2001 (but may be even older)

    PageRank Checker Links
    http://checkpagerank.net/index.php?name=hitspot.net&links=1
    http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_checker?domain=www.hitspot.net

    Wayback Machine Link
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.hitspot.net

    Backlink Checker Link
    http://www.iwebtool.com/backlink_checker?domain=www.hitspot.net - Includes backlink from a PR6 site (sourceforge.net)

What do you guys think this domain is worth? I may be interested in selling it if someone can make me an offer that justifies giving up links to my other sites that could be placed on it.

Thanks in advance for your time!

The site is worth no more than 50$

It is a expired domain registered just a day back. So this rate can be correct appraisal if you are selling it.

    Thanks for the reply, testee.

I have seen other PR5 sites going for $100-$200 and the domains aren't as old as this one.

Can you elaborate a bit more on why a recent re-registration would make it less valuable? What about links that were placed on the domain to my other sites (some of which are a lower page rank). Do you think they would still be valuable?

Re-registration has a greater chance of loosing its Page Rank so it goes for a lower price. Selling links will be a better idea and more profitable. But remember you can retain the PR only if you make a good site of the domain and point some links to it.
