Hi, pretty new to the domain and webmaster scene so just wondering how much my site domain mayweathermosley.net would go for with the upcoming fight on May 1, 2010 (the site is just parked). It was registered March 10, 2010. If used probably to do something related to the big fight of course. For selling, sports/boxing niche would fit well. Any appraisals/suggestions would be wonderful xDemevenx
This domain doesn't have a long shelf-life. What happens a year from now when no one would need to visit that domain? Although it might be good for a promoter they can always use a different domain and get the same or even better results. You need to catch a domain with some value that doesn't deplete over a short time. Registration Fee undeveloped. I don't see potential in developing this domain. However, at least you bought a strong TLD. Yet, next time try a .com with lasting attributes b/c its better to strive for the best.
Thank your for your help, I'll try to get a .com TLD next time. And you're right, after the fight the site would be almost worthless, so I'd probably have to try to monetize it now if anything were to result from it. Thanks =)
