Appraisal of css4.net

All of you know that the cascade stylesheet reached the version 3. So in about 1 or 2 years, css4 will arrive for sure.

I found this great domain free today, so I thought I should register it.

    Link: www.css4.net

What do you think about it ? Thanks!

    about $5 because undeveloped.
How would you possibly develop it, I'm sure CSS foundation would claim it through courts anyway.

Maybe sounds a little bit too high, but even undeveloped, my suggestion will be $$$ for it. Even it is not a .com, domain, I think the term css4 is strong enough to reach it there.

@bilawal360, if they want it they should buy it ... if not i`ll go to court with them, that is not a problem.

@allodium, yes i am thinking on what to do with it. I can offer help at css, i am a webdesigner though.

@ferdousx thank you for your appraisal.

If you develop it into a popular forum you could get $xxx easily i'm sure maybe more, just requires time.

I think there's a few css validator scripts floating about online, try and get your hands one of them, do a bit of marketing, and make you site huge :) $xxxx.

The domain name and the "Webmaster Forum" are two different things. Your domain doesn't reflect anything about webmasters or forums related thing.

If you develop a site about CSS then its a good domain.

The best thing to do is creat a niche forum on css....don;t try to go to broad, you will do better to focus only on css. good luck

b2breps is right. Its a css domain. it should focus on css, specially css4. try to put unique and wide range of contents about css4 and comaprison with other versions. optimize for seo and see what can you get out of it.

Develop it and start now, toss a plain PhPBB for now up there. If you hit it hard enough and get a steady community you might even influence css4 with your forum. my advice: if you go that route and succeed, monetize it and sell it on sitepoint.

Great idea! Develop it and I hope you'll earn something with it very soon! A forum is a nice idea but if you're creative enough you could do A LOT of things with that domain name!

Thats a great domain but as others have said, you need to stick up a content site like maybe on wordpress which has articles pertaining to CSS4. Would be a great site if it had that content, for the domain, well I think it's worth a little more than the reg fee :)
