Hey, anyone able to give me an insight into what this domain may be worth?, recently purchased not yet developed, is it worth developing it or could it get a fair bit on the name alone? Many Thanks Andy
I think it would be better developed - but this kind of site is best developed by someone actually offering a related service - budgeting or load consolidation. Just putting together a series of articles on debt management is unlikely to raise the value as the keywords are so incredibly competitive. You would need to do alot of work to gain ground. With that in mind you may be better approaching local firms (on the phone) and selling it that way.
Is there any law against such a practice? What do you think the most I would be able to get out of it is through general selling or auction? Greatly appreciate any help! Many Thanks Andy
If you can put even few articles and submit to directories, and get some traffic, I think you can earn a lot from home loan, personal loan, mortgage loan affiliate programs, so do not sell it now, use it and see how much are you making
I wouldn't have thought so. You'd need to be able to review the articles and understand the overlaps and where things aren't relevant. As laws and business practice change you need to be able to reflect that. If you aren't in the industry you won't have the ability to analyse and advise.
I would value it as a little more reg fee. It would have to be developed in order to gain value. I personally like the sound of the name. It's very brandable. Since I took the time to appraise your name, would you mind appraising mine please? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=255358
I think it's a decent brandable name if you were to develop it. You could set up an article website telling people how they can get out of debt, put up some adsense ads, maybe some affiliate links as well.
Thanks for all the replies so far guys!, Looks like I'm going to have to develop it! Which I'm up for doing if it will boost it's value a little! When I bought it I could see it being someones sort of slogan, which alot of companies do choose to have as a domain, such as wrigleys extras getalittlecloser.com and norwich unions quotemehappy.com.
