Will be more difficult to sell as a forum if the site has no traffic and recent postings. Tried to visit the site but it is not loading. The domain name has a nice sound to it. Not bad although 3 words, by itself only $XX i would say.

I don't think "The" hurts it. Seems to fit in good eventhough I prefer max 2 words only. Try to develop a good auction online marketplace. There are a few good softwares to doing so. I agree that the 'the' part ruins in. forumplace.com would be worth a bit but this domain by itself... reg fee
