If someone can please offer a little help. I had a person offer to buy two of my domain names. We agreed on a price for both. They than said that they would only buy them if I had them appraised and checked for TM. I am new to all this, but I did just buy a house and it was not on the seller to have it appraised for me it was up to me if I wanted to have that done. The house was only worth what I was willing to pay for it to me. Not what the market said it was worth. I would think that the same would stand true to some extent. As I am new to this I maybe way of base thinking this way. Can somebody please straiten me out on this matter. If anyone would like to offer up some help on the posible value of the two name they are. (rockingcountry(dot)com and maximuscale(dot)com. Thanks for the help in advance and looking forward to hearing what you have to say about all this.

That was a scam, mate, just to get you to pay for some services. You'll come across a lot of appraisal scams like that. Never, ever pay for an appraisal. As you said, it's what a buyer is willing to pay. You can set your value based upon the market. Do some research at:

    http://namebio.com/

Also Google Adwords Keyword Tool is very useful for keyword research if it's a keyword domain, so that will also give you an idea of value (keyword search volume, CPC, High/Medium amount of advertisers).
