If someone can please offer a little help. I had a person offer to buy two of my domain names. We agreed on a price for both. They than said that they would only buy them if I had them appraised and checked for TM. I am new to all this, but I did just buy a house and it was not on the seller to have it appraised for me it was up to me if I wanted to have that done. The house was only worth what I was willing to pay for it to me. Not what the market said it was worth. I would think that the same would stand true to some extent. As I am new to this I maybe way of base thinking this way. Can somebody please straiten me out on this matter. That was a scam, mate, just to get you to pay for some services. You'll come across a lot of appraisal scams like that. Never, ever pay for an appraisal. As you said, it's what a buyer is willing to pay. You can set your value based upon the market. Do some research at: http://www.dnsaleprice.com/ http://namebio.com/ Also Google Adwords Keyword Tool is very useful for keyword research if it's a keyword domain, so that will also give you an idea of value (keyword search volume, CPC, High/Medium amount of advertisers).
