Applying with a Site that already had AdSense!

    Hi,

I have a site that has my AdSense on it. I am now planning on transferring that site to my company. So, I will need to apply for AdSense in the name of the company. In the application, where they ask for the site, can I list the current site, i.e. the site that already has AdSense on it?

It will be a pain removing the AdSense from all pages just to apply for AdSense. Any advice?

    Thanks
    Ajeet

why do you need to change the codes?
you should remove the codes otherwise you wont get approve anyhow.
there is no point applying for new account with a site having adsense already on it.

I would remove the ads for now or else apply with a different site, then once approved swap your ads around.

Eventually, you will still need to change the code even after Google approves your application.

If I am in your shoes, I would leave the current Adsense code as it is and apply to Google explaining that the site is currently publishing using a personal account. Assure Google that you will change the publisher code and channel code after they approve to save the pain in re-creating and re-customizing the adsense codes. Don't forget to keep your fingers crossed...:p

I guess you could just create an blogspot blog for your company, then apply for the Adsense using the blog site.

Cool. I guess I have to create a new site. So, please allow me this follow up question:

If I apply to AdSense with a site that is rejected for some honest reason (i.e. nothing like scamming, spamming, illegal etc). Will this prejudice AdSense when I reapply with another site?

    Thanks

    Please elaborate Ajeet.
Does it mean they dint approve adsense account for that site if this is the case, No it wont prejudice Adsense.
but if it means that they banned Adsense for that site for some honest(??) reasons, i.e. not click fraud, Spamming, illegal activity (but why should they ban it then?)
    it may prejudice.

I guess you have answered my question. I meant that if I create a new site/blog for applying to AdSense, and they reject that site/blog, would I have any trouble when I apply with another.

I guess, I should not get into all this, and simply show them a good site :)

    Thanks
