    Hi.

I've just purchased an established website, which had adsense ads on it with its previous owner.

I now want to apply for my Adsense account.

Do I remove all traces of adsense before applying? Or do I change the pub-nnnnnnnn to pub-test ?

    Thanks
    Dave.

    pub-test should be fine.
Just a tip: if you want to speed up the approval procedure, apply with a blogspot blog.

You are better off, if you leave the old adsense account.

    Peace,

It might also be worth contacting Adsense support and mentioning that you have purchased **** site and that it had the Adsense of its previous owner on it, and can they make a note to disassociate you with this other publisher. Just in case this person has/or does in the future, break the TOS and get banned. You could possibly run the risk of being banned as an associated account. We were told by a rep that a note could be made in our account to this effect. Just an idea... take it or leave it. It may never be a problem, but sometimes it's better to plan to avoid a problem, rather than try to rectify it if it does happen.
