I have been charged with using our ghastly school site as a tool to help our capital campaign for a new science and lower school building.

It is interesting to think about because I would not use things like link exchange nor do I care about page rank.

What I do care about is funneling our communities to different area of my page where the increased traffic may lead to donation.

I have to give the communities (students, parents, alumni) reason to visit the site.

    The site is www.stratford.org

No I didn't make the site.

Any critque will be very valuable to me. Advice , even better.

Very slow to load (and Im on broadband)
Letter from the Headmaster looks good (didnt read it)
Why is there a shop/store in the middle of a school website?
I like the layout of the menu at the top - clear and easy to read
Id have a clear link to the fund/development section on every page, give people a reason to click on it, make them notice it
Its not entirely obvious how one would make a donation

Hey thanks for the reply. I need this kind of feedback.

What I am also interested in is applying the cocepts of emarketing to a fundraiser of this size. But we have a select group to reach. So how to generate traffic from an alumni base.
