Want to apply for adsense id, but not sure how old and how much content is required. I have a new blog on blogger.com (10 days old) with 5 posts of original content, each about 100 words. Another thinking is to get an automated blogs using RSS to aggregate several pages of content. Which is a better bet? Any advice?
I would say 5 posts at only 100 words each is pretty less... I would try to double the amount of content you have (or atleast bring it up by %25) before you apply. Are you using an original template as well (try to "wow" google as much as you can )
We applied with 7 reasonably long posts. The blog was only a few days old. Got accepted in less than an hour! Good luck!
Hi, It is amazing that ur site got approved in an hours.. I agree that getting a BLOGGER blog approved by G is very fast and easy also.. All the best... Njoy..
go ahead and apply. If you have a blogger account set up and a few original posts you will get accepted quickly. forget the RSS until you are set up with adsense. At least that was my experience.
Yep, I agree with qwestcommunications - just apply. I think RSS is a good idea but as dwhuff said you should forget RSS for now. My personal advice would be to keep your RSS posting rate very low as this might bring in content but usually it does not read very well. You want people to get to know you to keep coming back for more.
Using blogger is a fast and easy way to get your adsense account. The added benefit would be that blogger is owned by google and therefore I am using it to "report" on my other links to create a network of backlinks. I just added my blog on my profile. About RSS I am using a multiblog script (at reviews.gerthough.com) that works great by bringing all my blogs together so that I can easily choose which one to manage. One of the benefits is the ability to add RSS feeds automatically. I have set the setting for adding RSS as one article at a time but I haven't activate it yet. Maybe later. I like using wordpress better because I know it's for keeps and I am using the script to keep all my wordpress blogs together.
