    hi!

about six months ago i applied for an adsense account. at that time, my website wasn't completely finished, so i my application was quickly denied. since then i have come close to finishing my site, but i also moved from taiwan back to the us.

i would like to reapply. the problem is that i can't seem to 1) change my country/ address information and 2) if i attempt to fill out the form to close my current account, there is no way to locate my publisher id to do so because i never actually had adsense advertisements up and running.

i read that: 'In most cases, you can change the country in your account directly in the new AdSense interface. Here's how to do it:

    1. Sign in to your account.
    2. In the top corner of your account, click Try the new AdSense interface to change to the new AdSense interface.
    3. Under the Home tab, visit the Account settings page.
    4. In the "Account information" section, click change country.
    5. Select your preferred country.'

but every time i try to follow these directions it brings me back to the same page with my old address. there is no way to change the country/address settings. and i don't have, or have any way of knowing, my so-called publisher id in order to close the account.

none of the directions i come across seem applicable, or resolve, my problem.

please help me to resolve this issue.

    thanks very much in return.

open a new gmail address (with google account) and apply from your new account. Go to adsense, fill in the form just like you never applied before, and the applciation will be from the us this time
