Just sell your soul to a freelance world - good money if you have skills. When you burned out on that, think of some service and sell that instead.
Get a job in that department at a big company or go by yourself as a freelancer. Either one will work.
Best strategy is to have a good idea and know how to bring it to market, using the your own talents and the talents of those around you.
I agree with BizDetail, you can sell yourself but the real money is in developing a service/product that capitalizes on your skill set. Think of a nitch and run with it.
