Hi all, I am hoping someone with experience in cool website development can help me out. I am designing a website for a client that can customize its products and wants to be able to do this on their website also. They want to allow visitors to upload the logo/images and have it previewed on the specific product. Also the color of the product and the color of the logo to be customized as well. Once a product is customized, they want the visitor to be able to store the customized product in their shopping cart/personal account to be checked out or saved for further customization. Lastly, customers need to be able to view and reorder previous purchases. Is allowing visitors to customize products creating more hassle? Is it worth it to the business to invest in something that allows the customer to do this? Our current thinking is that a functionality like this will: 1) reduce customer anxiety with purchasing the made to order product 2) increase conversion rates 3) improve product presentation 4) generate repeat customer sales Does any one have experience with developing and designing a website with these functionalities?
