Good to see they are onto it, imessage is normally so reliable and it's been a bit of a nightmare having to double check that messages have been "delivered".

ours are old iPhone4 - never had a problem before iOS7

messaging is core functionality of a phone since, like, forever. They should've got it right.

    After all,
AppleInsider reported on Monday that a simple procedure has successfully eliminated the bug for many users:
    • Disable iMessage in Settings -> Messages,
    • Reset the iPhone's Network Settings under Settings -> General -> Reset
    • Reenable iMessage.
They says fix is in the works.

I hope they will roll out the patch.

My partner had a hell of a job updating her iPhone 4 to the new OS. Ran really slowly until she cleared it all out - I think she regrets updating as she hates the new look.

I just made the mistake of applying the 7.0.2 patch to my phone. It failed and I had to do a full reset and restore. I'm glad I hadn't needed to use it over that time because it took forever!
