I can imagine they are making a deal for both, the iPhone and the new Apple tablet.

Windows 7 offers a browser ballot screen, so I guess tech savvy users could choose different browsers and default search engines, but the majority of people using Windows PCs won't bother changing search engine.

Personally I like to try Bing every now and then, and sometimes compare the results. It's not a bad deal for iPhone users, and for sure it's a great deal for Apple. I searched for "Apple" on Google.com and Bing (there's a post on BeAloud.com) and found some interesting differences: Bing seems to slow to react to search trends, but Google can serve spammy results in the first page quite easily.

I would like to see apple go to Yahoo! for it's default. Or give people a choice when they first launch their iPhone.

People who own a iPhone are savvy enough to change the default search anyway...

Google phone is the answer... G went head to head in competition with Apple when they released Nexus...So we are dealing with "my enemies enemy is my friend" politics ;)
