The same on Apple official is about 333 $ 43$ is a huge difference considering I live in India..

 

In the States you only pay tax if you are shipping the item to the same state that the company is located in. You can go a little further into the checkout process and see the totals before you actually make the purchase.

 

This is the wrong place to ask that question but AFAIK Amazon do not tax you on your products and shipping cost is already calculated in by the vendor who's selling the product.

 

but in this case I see that amazon it self is selling it, so they do charge tax on products from different states.
please take in mind most of the time when amazon is selling something with other vendors on amazon, I would suggest you should not buy it from amazon it self, only from merchants selling on amazon
for 2 reasons:

1. A merchant selling on amazon has the total price and shipping charges upfront so you think that amazon is cheaper but most of the time you start adding the product in you cart than you get hit with tax, or shipping charges if its less than $25.00, and you will end to buy by amazon it self for more what you can buy it from the other merchant on amazon.

2. If you are not happy with your order: buying from amazon it self will be a little hassle to return it or get refunded, but if you get from a merchant selling on amazon, they make you are happy, merchants on amazon knows they have to provide costumer satisfaction not to get a A to Z claim and have amazon suspend they merchant account.
