    Hi,

I am recently downloaded Xcode from the Mac Appstore and would like to learn how to develop a iOS app.

If you know of any great ways to learn how to, let me know ! - Ideally for simple beginner ;]

    Thanks,

I am also i beginner and i would like to learn it too. I know that you have to learn objective-c. And i am just thinking about starting. But i also wonder if i should lear c first? Is it easier to learn objective-c if you learn c first. I read on apples tutorial pages on objective-c that objective-c is just add-ons to c. So if you know c you almost know objective c. If this is true i would love to know a few ways to learn c, free ebooks or something. And i would also like a recommendation on a good free c ebook. And i know i cant learn all from an ebook, i know i have to start making code and stuff. But i first need some basic understanding of the language. I appreciate any response.

    Hi,

I just wondered as every tutorial I have found mostly uses a Windows Based Application which I cannot find at all on Xcode application.

    Hope someone can resolve this,

Do you have a programming background?
If yes, there will not be so hard to make an app.
If you don't it also will not be hard, but you will lost a lot of time until you get into it.
I suggest you to search for tutorials in youtube. It's a nice start.

I can recommend a better way to start developing for iOS. If you are not familiar with Objective C (C in general) than you can use a framework like Phonegap or Appcelerator to program in HTML and Javascript and convert your web based apps to native code with all benefits (compass, accelerator, GPS, camera etc), also for Android, iOS and even WIN 7 mobile! If you need more info or guidance let me know.

    Good luck!
