    I would buy 2 30" for the price of one of the Viewsonic 23". :)

    I wonder what sort of video card requirements they will have for the Viewsonic. There is only one video card on the market than can actually drive the 30" monitor (because of the high resolutions) which is the NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra. Probably the Viewsonic has the same video card requirements.

    Good question on the video card - I read it is a pretty special PCI card for the Viewsonic that includes TWO DVI cables - this is all pretty specialized stuff that certainly isn't plug-n-play ... but it's nice to see leading edge stuff as this becomes mainstream in a few years.

    The guys who oughta be giving away a 30" LCD are the DarkBlue gang, since they got a TON of free publicity for their N-U SEO contest. Shawn, on the other hand, has provided some pretty nifty tool to everyone for free ... so if anything, maybe we should chip in to buy him a 30" LCD! ;-)
