Past week, been sicker than a dawg with one well entrenched flu bug. Went from bad to worse, from feeling crappy to not even feeling. And last night? Graduated to Appendicitis! For the full story, the Iowadawg's Blawg Just took 2 pain meds to cut off any pain that one incision may try to spring on me. Now I can not drive any heavy equipment. So got to find some light cranes and so forth to drive around.
That sucks My dad had it and he was feeling so sick and had to stay a few days in the hospital. I hope you will get better soon!
Glad you made it in and out so fast. Those darn hospitals are germ factories. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery.
Tell you, the hospital staff were just super! From start to finish, they took care of me! Best damn staff of any hospital in Iowa. If you get sick, and need a hospital, and you are in Iowa, then head on over to Winterset. Bit longer story there as usually they send people up to Des Moines for most operations, so I lucked out in getting a doctor that would do it and do it at 10pm at night.... Right now I am feeling nice. Changed the bandaids this morning and the incisions look fine, no leakage or redness. Of course, can't yet walk fast much less run.
