I thought I had turned off all instances of Active Status on both my desktop Facebook app and mobile app. As I understand it that is four places Facebook web app and Facebook messenger, and Facebook mobile app and mobile Messenger. Please correct me if I am wrong. However, I logged in with a friend on their fb app and I was still showing as active, with the green dot next to me. I have checked and the desktop messenger app Active Status is definitely off. As is mobile Messenger app. That just leaves the desktop and mobile Facebook apps. I have been googling this and all sorts of different articles are around, seemingly out of date as the menu options they describe for the desktop and mobile fb apps do not seem to exist. How do I appear offline in these apps, please?
