That is a good thing. But You should notice, one thing, that its an American Company, US has a policy, it takes into measure, that Political, social, issues. Pakistan is not only issue, if you once, look that those countries not listed in the paypal, are having trouble, political, imbalances. They particularly, restrict Muslim and Arab countries.
I Dont think things work this way its the banking system of pakistan they dont meet paypal needs perhaps

PayPal says that their policies don't match with banks in Pakistan. Well the names of the bank that you have mentioned are international bank and most are here in India also and we are able to withdraw funds here in In these banks with out any hassle. May be these banks has different policies in different countries, I believe only PayPal can answer these things and can clear why they are not allowing your country. Best of Luck.
Paypal will never be available in Pakistan unless Pakistan and Israel become real good friends. Paypal is an Israel registered company. And Israeli companies are not allowed to work here. It will not be done by requesting on DP or anywhere else for that matter. So please stop this.
Dear skyislimit, you turned this thread from a payment processing into a political debate, great. There may be some invisible bilateral issues, with those Big heads, that we can not understand... those relations are not one or two years, but for the generations, with those countries... that they experienced some loss of lives/property issues. Let us hope...for the better.. in the near future. but there are always an alternative... where there is a will there is a way...
may be but sorry my thread is going to be political discussion no matter they support or not i have not requested it on DP i requested contact them on there site any way...... hope Pakistan and Israel do not become friends and if anyone tried for it from Pakistan than there will not be Pakistan (sorry for political views)
my aim to start this thread was an appeal to take some minutes contact paypal team and ask them to start there services for Pakistan i ll be thankful to you if you help Pakistanis
This is nonsense! RBS, Citi, HSBC, Barclays are all established or in the process of, in Pakistan. Whether there's some political anti-Israli things going on in Pakistan has no bearing on this topic. It's a simple matter of stability and infrastructure. Pakistan is not stable enough financially, and does not have the internal infrastructure for Paypal and other payment processors to move in. There has to be financial stability and accountability on all levels before processors will move in. One of the biggest factors is accountability on the personal / small business level. If there is no mechanism to go after fraud when it occurs, then there's no chance of major processors opening up to the population. I won't even get into the major political problems, but given the current situation, Paypal's not going to open up there any time soon.
RBS, Citi, HSBC, Barclays Standered Chartered, Money Bookers, Alert Pay, Western Union are working in Pakistan because conditions are stable? Paypal doesn't want to come because conditions are not stable? What's your point I don't get it. Actually a friend of mine is a full time freelancer and he sent a letter to paypal and inquired why they are not in Pakistan back in year 2000. And he got an official reply that the Pakistani Law don't allow any company registered as an Israeli company to work in Pakistan. It has nothing to do with stable conditions etc. I don't want to get into any political discussion but if you compare Pakistan's financial conditions with some of the African countries who already have paypal you will see that Pakistan is much more stable.
