I know that I have made about 3 directories and closed them, now running another one and received a bad reputation (today) because of a minor change in offering an option of free submissions with my paid submissions. There have been a lot of things in real life that have intruded on my directory management and I am extremely sorry for those who have submitted and had seen the site down after a week or two later. This was not my intension and I apologize for my actions as I am not a very well respected member around here and noticed that for awhile. To those who find this post usesless, I can understand but to those who believe in a second chance after an apology has been handed out, I hope you accept and understand that we do not control how life hits us at times and know it's not possible to turn back and try again if it's not available to us. I would like to start fresh and hope that the members who are viewing this and know me and my past of closing directories (not by choice) will accept this apology and not push me the other way because of my mistakes I have made in past. I respect everyone here, and really hoping that I can one day get that back myself. Thank you.
I don't actually know you and your directory management work but i hope people will accept your apology because there is nothing much bigger thn the word "SORRY" and only real strong people use this word Wish you a best of luck in future about your work and your personal life too as ups and downs are natural for everyone and hope people will accept it after reading your post Regards PHYza

Hey steve!! I really hope that everything is now fine at your end!! You have accepted your mistakes in public and this shows you are not bad. I want people who worked with you to forgive you and give you another chance..because sometimes we don't really intend to do things but they happen. We all deserve a second chance and so does steve!! Public apology is a hard thing to do.. Knowing little/nothing about your directory, I can't comment further on it. Hope everything goes fine !
It might be a loss for those who subscribe on that directory but I hope they will also accept your apology on the other hand since you did not meant this to happen.
Thank you to the top three posters, I really appreciate your replies and comments on this post and understanding as well. As for the subscribers that Liam stated about, you're right and that will take probably a long time to get trusted members back on my side again to see that people do and can change and give a better backbone than before and that the past is the past and you only learn from your mistakes. This is my chance to move forward and move on and away from my mistakes and hope everyone can follow me and support me in this. Thanks again to those who continue to reply to this and provide support on this.
