Api? Wtf?

    So... I have come to the conclusion that in order to advance I need to learn API or at least get familiar with it. What are some sites that have some straight forward tutorials?

    I would check out Google's API's (just because they have so many different services you're bound to find one that you will understand / get the hang of)

    Almost every large site provides a API of sorts with a brief tutorial / example of how to use it (usually straight forward)

    I was assuming he kept reading people using "Google API" or "Yahoo API" and just generalized it.

    Do a google search for "api tutorials". There are really useful ones there...
