API Key

I think I've been able to generate an API Key.


How do I implement it into my website to get it working. It says its the API Search Key. Am I generating the wrong code?

The Google API keys that they apparently aren't giving out anymore. I'm trying to generate some kind of key to put in my keyword tools to get them working. For example the Digital Point Keyword tracker requires a API key from google. How exactly do I get one and then implement it. It seems like there is an infinite number of API keys for different applications. For example there is one to implement a google search bar into a website. What exactly should I be looking for?

You must have Google SOAP Search API key while google stop to issue new key since dec 2006.

See http://code.google.com/apis/soapsearch/reference.html

"As of December 5, 2006, we are no longer issuing new API keys for the SOAP Search API. Developers with existing SOAP Search API keys will not be affected."

 

Ok thanks for the info. I think I"m just going to change my keyword program to one that doesn't require a SOAP.

 

Did you have any luck in finding one as I've just run into the same problem.
