Hey guys! We recently wanted to make a free, public app that uses Google's API for extract keyword volumes given user inputs. It's mean to scale to over 10K users. Is it true or false that Google will charge for just this activity? http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/developer/adwords_api_ratesheet.html I'm green to this so wanted to ask.... If so, I'm very surprised how some services can provide their API application for free while they scale! How is this so guys? Thanks for your sincere help! Jay
Sorry for the bump but I’m interested in knowing this also, did you get an answer? Thanks Brian On Page Seo | Wedding Present List | Fully Automated ebook Site | SEO Directory
Me too interested to whether you are already getting the API application for free, as i am also into adwords Thanks
Yes, it costs to use the API. It says so right on the Google page, so this should be obvious. A quarter for every 1,000 action calls isn't bad, really. The only reason it would hurt your funds any is if you offered a service that needed to use calls constantly, and it was popular enough that everyone knew about it.
