Apache Timeout Problems

    Hi,

I'm getting timeout problems when accessing a site. I can navigate around without any problems and then I suddenly get a "connection timeout error", then everything is fine again. This only happens with my site, so I suspect problems somewhere on the server or with the VPS hosting company.

So I need help in diagnosing where the problem is.

I can't see the request in any of the apache logs, so my question is -

If the request isn't in any of the logs (access_log, error_log) does that mean apache never receives the request ?

Is there somewhere else I can look on the server to if the request has reached it ?

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
    Many thanks

There some factors causing timeout but if it happened only known page, its the script.
When you open the page, try to view top -c from the shell and you will see the page that eat cpu resource or memory.
