    Hello,

I am not able to run Apache on port 80. Windows event log say port 80 is already in use. I tried Apache on different port and its working fine on other port.. No IIS or other server is installed on my machine. I believe some trojen or spyware blocking port 80. Is there any tool to detect process using port 80. I had run macfee, trojen remover, spyware removal tool but none of the tool catch malware in my system.

    OS: Windows XP SP2

    Any Suggestion

    Thanks

It is strange that nobody have any suggestions? I finally solved my problem. I used TCPView to see which process using port 80. i found and surprise to see that Skype was using port 80. I was really surprise to see this because i had never seen this before. After some googling i found that skype use port 80 as an alternative incoming connection but this setting can be turn off from tools->options -> connection menu.

I restarted pc and my apache start working again. TCPView is very useful application to see which port is using in details and which application is using..

Hope this will be useful for others

    Thanks
